Blame the movie trailer.

Has anyone else out there seen this movie trailer that President Obama is blaming for all the mid-east violence? I'm not sure why they're the only ones getting violent; seriously anyone who appreciates good film should definitely go berserk after seeing this garbage!  But I didn't realize what connoisseurs of the visual arts middle-easterners must be to spark such a drastic reaction.  I believe that this whole “religion” angle is simply a red herring designed to minimize the horrible atrocity which is really taking place:  The degradation of filmmaking worldwide.  Oh sure, America deserves most of the blame!  After all it’s predominantly Americans making bad movies and passing them off as entertainment.  America is responsible for creating YouTube and released such excrement as “The Matrix Revolutions” and “Pocahontas”.  This is a golden opportunity for President Obama to unite the world, perhaps we could all hold hands and watch a great film together, perhaps “Lawrence of Arabia” or Kevin Costner’s “Robin Hood”.  And by the way, have you ever seen a good movie made by a Mormon?  I didn’t think so.

I think we could all do with a little positive previsionist history. Even while typing this comment, the spell-checker underlined the word, to use a term coined by my close relative Edwardo (who should spell his name Eduardo) Crum on Oct. 25 while sipping a cup of coffee, previsionist.
But that's progress.

Mom's commenting on the wrong post.

Both "Napoleon Dynamite" and "Nacho Libre" were made by Mormons.

So, no, I haven't seen a good Mormon movie.
